Just a few more games left with these Bears, then I’m off to Alaska to hang out with a different sort of bear for the summer. I’ll be rooting MSU on to Omaha from Gates of the Arctic National Park, 35 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Bartending, serving, floating down rivers, and desperate for baseball news – just a hunch. I used Alaska material for my Master’s, which I’m finishing up this month. I’m heading back to take more photos and take more notes – maybe for an MFA this time. I’ll be back in time for fall ball.
